An opportunity to join a global, Lloyds Market Broker based in the City of London who trade in over 140 countries and provide bespoke risk solutions across a diverse range of different classes and industry sectors. * This role will only require attendance at the City office for 3 days per month. The Senior Technician will support the placement and servicing of North American non-marine lines into the London & overseas markets by ensuring all post-bind technical processes are completed effectively. Duties are varied but will include; * Verification or MRC’s, endorsements, certificates, policies * Submitting documentation for signing to bureaux and non-bureaux markets * Processing transactions * Creating credit / debit notes * Investigating and resolving premium and policy issues * Support and guide more junior team members * Provide a general overview of all post-bind operational / technical activity to ensure accuracy What you need to show * Previous working experience in a Lloyds / London Market technical or operations support type role. * Familiarity with London market documentation and IT platforms * Understanding of the processes required to place risks into the syndicate & company markets. * Exposure to North American property and/or casualty classes is desirable but NOT essential. Due to increased volumes of business they are now seeking to strengthen their FINPRO Team by hiring an Account Handler. The purpose of this role is to support brokers in the processing, placement and servicing of international FINPRO lines, which include; management liability, professional Indemnity, financial institutions, D&O, Cyber, and Transactional risks. This role might suit a London Market Technician who is looking for a new opportunity with increased responsibilities and the chance to develop their career further. The role has two distinct aspects. Firstly, you will manage relationships with the market and brokers to ensure a high service standard that creates loyalty and satisfaction. Secondly, you will work with the broking team to ensure that all technical processing is completed in an accurate and timely manner. What you need to show A good understanding of technical support in the Lloyds / London Market and the processes, procedures and IT platforms required to successfully place and service risks. You must be familiar with MRC slips and endorsements and be able to extract information. Exposure to Financial or Professional lines is preferred but is not essential. Broker Support Technician

Broker Support Technician - Duties and responsibilities * Assisting in back end technical duties, Invoicing, Closing Advices, Third Party Credit Notes and accounts liaison. * Preparation of MRC Slips and Endorsements. * Liaising with team members and Underwriters as and where needed. * Loading MRC slips to PPL for sign off by Underwriters. * Filing formal policy documentation. * Assisting in Ad-hoc duties as and when a member of the team needs assistance. What you need to show * You must be passionate to learn and committed to delivering exceptional service to clients. * Experience working with PPL and any experience in the London Market would be useful. * You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and Underwriters alike, with the desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic team. * You are self-motivated and able to prioritise your own workload within relevant time frames and meeting realistic deadlines. * Willingness to start, or already working towards, ACII would be beneficial.
