BROKER TECHNICIAN CITY BASED - up to 4 days WFH A newly created role in an experienced, growing team focusing on specialist, niche risks including Landmine Clearance, Offshore & Marine Contractors, Commercial Diving Contractors, Manufacturers of Automobile Component Parts. This role will work closely with Client Directors / Account Handlers internally to support and facilitate the placing of business in the London market and preparing client documentation. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to continue their career and broaden their knowledge as part of an expanding team and would particularly suit an experienced individual requiring flexible working. Key Duties * Assisting in front and back end technical duties, Invoicing, Closing Advices, Third Party Credit Notes and LPANS. * Preparation of MRC Slips and Endorsements for Casualty, Product Recall/Guarantee and other lines of Business * Liaising with team members, Underwriters as and where needed. * Loading MRC slips to PPL for sign off by Underwriters. * Filing formal policy documentation. * Bordereau preparation * Assisting in Ad-hoc duties as and when a member of the team needs assistance. About You * You will have some experience working in the insurance industry and be passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients. * While it is not essential, some experience working with PPL and London Insurance Market would be useful. * You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and Underwriters alike, with the ability and desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic team. The role will be based from home with occasional travel into the City office. Purpose of the role: To complete all post bind activities for the broking teams by ensuring efficient processes and practices are in place and are adhered to within a busy department. Senior Operations Technician - £48,000 Mainly remote working A Lloyds Insurance Broker looking for a Senior Operations Technician to join their team. The role will be based from home with occasional travel into the City office. Purpose of the role: Working within Insurance Operations team to provide a first-class service to cover holders covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements. Provide support to management and training to team members where required as well as assisting with the production and analysis of daily / weekly and monthly reports relating to KPI’s within the team. Key Duties: * Production and renewal of Binding Authorities / Slips, ensuring all are in acceptable order in line with Lloyd’s procedures/ guidelines * Production of Endorsements as appropriate * Amendment of Wordings/ Slips as appropriate * Submitting documents to the Bureaux/ XIS * Ensuring all bordereaux are chased up, received, processed and paid to relevant bureaux within settlement due dates * Producing debit/ credit notes and processing premiums onto internal systems * Maintaining internal systems accurately and efficiently * Maintaining statistical information as required * Ensure that company procedures and systems are followed and reviewed * Manage own files as per internal Procedures Manual Person Skills/ Experience: * Previous proven experience in a similar role * Good knowledge and understanding of London Market procedures * Knowledge of Lloyds Delegated Authority systems (DCOM, Atlas, DDM) * Strong knowledge of general insurance policies and underlying legal procedures * Good knowledge of the regulatory requirements of general insurance in operation at any time * Knowledge of FCA regulations and guidelines relating to commercial customers. * Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally to the firm. * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Strong organisational skills * Working towards Insurance Qualifications - Desirable REF: 8606
