About You * You will have experience working in the insurance industry, preferably in commercial business. * You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships with, and influence the decision making of a portfolio of clients and insurers. * You will have experience working with Microsoft Excel and database systems and understand the importance of keeping documentation and systems up to date. * Experience working with Acturis is essential. Main Duties: * Respond promptly to intermediary queries and ensure that all communications with agents, insurers, or any other relevant business contacts are accurately recorded in writing. * Inform intermediaries of the policy cover, terms and conditions and claims protocol and reasonably ensure that the agent/ client understands the effect of breach of conditions or requirements. Record the details in the client records. * Deal with new and renewal business for your existing clients * Deal with mid-term policy queries and issue endorsements where appropriate. * Give instructions and relay any issues to insurance providers/ broking department. * Maintain and develop relationships through the delivery of excellent service, technical knowledge, and expertise. * Accuracy of data input into systems, ensuring information integrity. * Compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by the FCA by keeping up to date with all changes in the regulatory framework. Key Skills/ Requirements: * Experience within a similar insurance role * You will ideally have experience with the London Market, managing your own risks. * Experience with Commercial risks including Property Owners and Liability * You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships, and negotiate renewal terms, both with insurers and agents. * You will have experience working with Microsoft Office applications and database systems and understand the importance of keeping documentation and systems up to date. * Experience working with MRCs would be beneficial. Motor Fleet Technician

Job: Motor Fleet Technician Salary: 35,000 Location: Hybrid working - London/ Home A large Lloyd's Broker is looking for a Motor Fleet Technician to join their busy expanding team. Purpose of the role: * To undertake all aspects of mid-term adjustments within the team, relative to personal experience and ability. * Monthly allocation of renewals Main Duties: * Driver and vehicle referrals (including obtaining additional information where needed) * Request relevant additional information required by underwriters from agents to enable them to consider requests further and vice versa * To process all mid term adjustments to Underwriters * Renewal of policies to an 80% retention level each month * Issuing of cover notes and green cards as necessary * Scanning of documents and attaching emails on to policy on system * Ensure adequate contact is kept with sub-agent and underwriters during any of the processes to finalise matters * To promptly convey instructions, premium and terms to underwriters and agents * Update MI/Statistics using as necessary * Advise agents of acceptance/refusal of cover and provide written confirmation of terms as necessary * Ensure replies received from underwriters where necessary and that agent informed accordingly * Liaising with agent and underwriters in order to resolve issues * Check and issue policy documents and certificates to agents * Close documentation to underwriters * Processing of finance agreements * Process mid term amendments using underwriters computer system where necessary * Negotiate with underwriters and sub-agents on indemnity issues with the aim of resolving to the clients satisfaction Key Skills/ Requirements: * Previous experience dealing with Motor Fleet Risks * Good understanding of Insurance practices * Good computer skills * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to confidently converse with colleagues, sub-agents and underwriters, written and verbally * Able to work both independently and as part of a team REF:8767
