Exposure & Aggregation Analyst

EXPOSURE AND AGGREGATION ANALYST to £35,000 City We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills, someone with Exposure Management experience in an insurer or broking house and ideally educated to degree level. Your Role: You will assist in the initial set up of the Exposure Management division and help to train a team of individuals in aspects of exposure data capture and industry best practice. Using your previous experience, you will help build new opportunities for the business through the creation and development of client and carrier analytics. To ensure data accuracy, you will perform sample quality checks on all policies entered into the exposure management software across multiple lines of business. Should any errors be found, you will rectify these and impose the appropriate remedial training is given as required. Whilst doing this, you’ll also ensure standard operating procedures and minimum data quality standards are adhered to. Qualifications Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Ideally you will be educated to degree standard or equivalent. For us, it's key that you have experience in a fast-paced environment. The grasp of insurance, broking and how we are regulated is essential. With strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues alike; you take pride in having a high level of numeracy and literacy. Sound knowledge of general Insurance and underlying legal principles and practices, especially London Market / Lloyd’s and Industry databases well as a good working knowledge of RMS Risk Link, Air Touchstone and Sequel Impact. Insurance industry experience or knowledge is essential for this role. Good MS office skills particularly Microsoft Excel. SQL and database structure knowledge is preferred but not essential. A keen interest and understanding of the key principles and complexities of Catastrophe Modelling and Exposure Management are critical for this role. We are seeking an ambitious individual with superb communication skills. You possess a natural ability to take complex information and translate this clearly to your audience. In order to support with the data entry process and provide solutions to queries, you will have excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Being proactive in finding solutions to problems and using own initiative is key. You're known for having a hardworking and dedicated attitude and your initiative and passion to succeed. SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER c£70,000 Lloyds broker based Southend are currently seeking an experienced Sharepoint Developer who will be responsible for establishing and providing ongoing support, development and maintenance for the SharePoint intranet. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of SharePoint intranet and its use as an enterprise wide collaboration and document management platform. The purpose of this role is to support and enable the delivery of excellent customer service via SharePoint developments including applications, forms, and workflows; improve operational efficiency; provide cost effective services through automation; deliver relevant, timely and reliable information in applications via integration and to support the company with simple, intuitive and effective technology. You will provide expertise on SharePoint 2010, 2013 and InfoPath forms and SharePoint development knowledge.
