Compliance Assistant - 6 month contract Essex £40,000 pro rata About the role: Providing administrative support to colleagues associated with the day to day servicing of Trading Partners (Appointed Representatives/Introducer Appointed Representatives/Insurers/Producing Intermediaries), plus other trading partners as instructed by the line manager. Ensuring a consistent approach to practices are maintained within the team and in line with existing Standard Operating Procedures. Key duties: ·Monitor the central Mailbox, ensuring allocation of work to appropriate team &/or individual, deal with incoming general queries and escalate to assistant manager as appropriate. ·Collaborate/Liaise with other monitoring and second and third line of defence teams in order to drive proactive approach to administration and service of new and existing Trading Partners. ·Ensure all records relevant to trading partner files are maintained (perform file spot checks), escalate finding to line manager. ·Contribute to the drafting of agreements, remediation and maintenance of and recording of data relevant to Third Party Introducers/AR/IAR/Toba, including data entry to Central Registers e.g. SharePoint sites. ·Extract regular MI Reports from Central Registers, for quality assurance checking, to evidence volumes and performance, also ensure accurate regulatory reporting outcomes ·Contribute and work to deliver within agreed service levels for all Agency activities. ·Provide work stream support for Business-led and M&A integration projects – scheduled and ad hoc. ·Aim to deliver a high level of customer service and maintain productive and creditable working relationships with appropriate staff within the Company ·Comply with the company Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for role with specific attention, but not limited to Whistle Blowing, Treating Customers Fairly. ·Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business. Key Experience: ·Relevant knowledge of the FCA handbook relating to Appointed Representatives experience ·Demonstrate an understanding of the Insurance Broking Market ·MS office Intermediate for Word, Excel & PowerPoint ·A relevant professional qualification would be advantageous Ref 7039
