BUSINESS SUPPORT MANAGER - to 60,000 Lloyds Broker based in the City of London would like to recruit a Business Support Manager to be responsible to the Divisional Head for the in-office management of all account servicing, renewal and related activities to; achieve the performance targets of the Division’s business plan, maintain local compliance, regulatory and quality practice standards and to work alongside Operations in implementing Business improvement functions to the division •Supervision of all aspects of operations within the Team to meet quality control targets including supervising and monitoring renewal lists/progress of renewals. •Ensure the Division achieves workflow targets and Contract Certainty •Highlights any deficiencies in operations and recommends remedial or corrective action to be taken. •Investigates and resolves complaints and service failures. •All Pre-Placement and Post-Placement activity including MRC Slip creation, submission preparation and all technical support to the Team  Investigates and resolves complaints and service failures. •Document Production •Produce and analyse premium/brokerage/claims/renewal and other statistics as may be required by line manager. •Support Divisional Head and Finance department in the management of records/escalation’s in respect of Unmatched Cash, Funding, Unrealised Brokerage and Client Debtors •Contribute to achieving a high rate of client retention through well-planned and executed account processing and escalate servicing issues to divisional management as necessary •Ensures there are sufficient resources to meet client day-to-day demands and escalates servicing issues to divisional management as necessary •Ensure that the roles, responsibilities and reporting lines within the business area are clearly communicated and understood. •Ensure that capability and competence is maintained for all staff under their control •Ensure that employees receive the required training and development in order to successfully perform their role •Monitor the Divisional management of CPD and Appraisals •London Market and International experience preferably in Business processing. •Exposure to large international corporations. •Minimum technical insurance: CertCll or equivalent. •Market and industry structure and operation, including regulation and current market practices LLMIT, LM1 and LM2 or equivalent experience •Sector specific risks and insurance products/solutions Risk analysis •Slip drafting and Approval •Basic business finance, budgeting and high literacy in insurance finance.
