Project Analyst - Strategic Projects - 12 month Fixed Term Contract The Project Analyst is responsible for the delivery of strategic initiatives designated by the Strategic Projects Lead, The Project Analyst will support the delivery of high quality portfolio management services to internal and external clients. You will: ·Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives ·Elicit high-level requirements by influencing stakeholders to identify impacts, mitigate risks and reach the desired outcome ·Work on projects with a wide scope involving single or multiple processes / systems and lead the implementation of the project ·Analyse & evaluate business needs to provide recommendations or if required alternative solution. ·To develop accurate business models including process and data ·Work with project manager/s to plan analysis work and highlight risks and issues ·Provide support on Ad hoc tasks for project delivery data analysis, process mapping and slide production ·Understand the role of a Business Analyst working with Agile methodologies You will : ·Proven Insurance experience, including a solid understanding of insurance terminology ·Previous experience of working in a project environment ·Intermediate to advanced Visio, PowerPoint MS Project, Excel skills ·Experience of operation with Agile, Waterfall project methodology and understanding SDLC end to end, also helping teams explore, adopt & optimize agile processes, principles and practices ·Ability to take business requirements & configure said requirements in specific tools/technologies leveraged by the organisation ·Track record of identifying and analysing problems, identifying & evaluating options, deploying sound decision making skills. ·Demonstrable evidence of interpreting & manipulating data clearly and accurately with the ability to extract & clearly articulate key points ·Strong results-orientation and sense of urgency; willingness to be hands-on with a "can-do, will-do" attitude. Main Responsibilities ·Oversight and management of the flow of data input work between onshore and offshore ·Monitoring and reviewing of offshore partners to ensure the accurate and timely entry of data and as well as data validation in to Subscribe is within agreed timescales and accuracy ·Assist in the oversight and monitoring of the handling and agreement premium messages from Xchanging assisting and processing any complex cases as required. ·Helping to check data for submission to Lloyd’s for Performance Monitoring Data (PMD) ·Assist in the Oversight and Monitoring of the entry of Premium and endorsement amendments ·Assist in the oversight and monitoring of Credit Control queries, assisting and advising on complex cases as required ·Liaison with Underwriting teams as required to progress matters under query ensuring process remains effective at all times. ·General support for underwriters as required Skills and Experience ·Experience of data entry would be an advantage ·Working knowledge of any of: Subscribe, Document Management systems, PMD and Workflow systems would be an advantage ·Numerate and IT literate ·Knowledge of the different classes of Insurance underwritten within the London Market ·Effective communication skills Personal Qualities ·Positive attitude and strong team player ·Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ·Works well under pressure and short timescales ·Self-motivated and proactive ·Flexible and adaptable ·Confident with strong inter-personal skills ·Effective communicator ·Process driven Salary to c£30,000 depending on experience.
