About the Role: Join a project to create and deploy an innovative, state-of-the art platform which complies with data protection requirements and facilitates administration of single risk seriatim data. This project will support the ambition of the Life Division by harmonizing processes, replacing multiple isolated legacy tools and focusing the organisation more value-add tasks. ·Increase access to data and improve quality ·Improve efficiency ·Support customer centricity & improve user experience ·Decrease operational risks ·Contribute to the deployment of the Life Target application architecture Key Duties: ·Set up reference and mapping tables ·Analysis of the reinsurance treaties and existing systems to obtain the data required to populate the tables. ·Work closely with actuarial staff and client administrators. ·Liaise with other members of the team in order to gain understanding of the data and parameters ·Analyse treaties, policy data, mapping tables and in-house systems in order to obtain data to populate the required system tables. ·Assist with the checking of tables created by other members of the team ·Flexibility will be required to assist with other data-oriented tasks relating to the system implementation which may arise. BUSINESS ANALYST - CITY - To £40,000 Leading Lloyds Broker is seeking to recruit an individual to work closely with their Transformation and Change Team. The role will work closely with one of their largest teams on Product Delivery including IT development projects, and post delivery, to deliver the detailed business requirements to help realise most benefit to the business. BI/Data Analyst City of London Salary up to £40,000 Our client is a leading Lloyd's Broker with offices worldwide. They are seeking an experienced individual to join their extremely busy MI Team in London. This opportunity will provide the successful candidate an opening to report into the B.I Lead developer, create and run reports from the B.I. as well as evaluating and demonstrating problem solving skills on a day to day basis. Key duties: ·Gathering reporting requirements and creating reports / dashboards using BI reporting tool whilst ensuring information is reconciled and accurate. ·Ensuring data synchronisation is being performed successfully along with data integrity / quality and working with third parties to resolve any issues. ·Understanding of data structures from core broking system ·Developing and producing management information reports ·Producing documentation for users and on-going internal support. ·Facilitating User Acceptance Testing and logging issues where necessary. ·Assistance with user support and providing training to non-technical users. ·Co-ordinating activities with divisional team members to ensure operational and management information is readily available. ·Accurate and timely preparation of daily and monthly reports and ad hoc reports. ·Ability to create insightful, visual and tabular based dashboards. ·Interpret and analyse data to identify key metrics. ·Liaise with internal and external auditors to supply requested reports and explain their findings. ·Provide sector and competitor benchmarking. ·Develop and support reporting processes. ·Monitor and audit data quality. ·Work with management to prioritise business and information needs. ·Assist in the development and production of internal MI and compliance with regulatory financial information. ·Set up and maintain automated data processes. Experience required. Suitable candidates for this position will be required to have a Minimum of 1 year data analyst experience (ideally within Insurance broking) , knowledge of BI Reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik or PowerBI and SQL scripting experience writing queries, data extraction and data warehouse.
