An opportunity to join an independent and established insurance broker based close to East Croydon Station.



Our client is looking for a strong team player who possesses existing experience within a commercial insurance broking role that includes some or all of the product lines outlined below.



Role Summary



-Can efficiently process renewal documents and collect insurance premiums and setup payment plans, deal with MTA documents and claims correspondence, in a correct and compliant manner.

-Achieve renewal retentions to hit monthly targets. Currently achieving over 90%.

-Have the ability to hit various monthly targets.

-Will have experience dealing with Property Owners, Shop, Office, and Liability insurance policies.

-Will work warm leads and lapse cases to achieve new business targets.

-Ideally would have worked in a similar broking environment in the past and understand the continuous need to offer the very best customer service.

-Will initially be dealing with premiums ranging from £250-£1,000. Good progress will see this range increased.

-Case numbers will be around 75 renewals each month plus new business enquiries.

Requirements

·Good GCSE (or equivalent) education examination results including; Maths and English.

·Lives within an easy commutable location to our office.

·Will have a strong work ethic and looking to study towards their professional CII Insurance qualifications (or already have achieved CII status).

·An enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude towards work.

·A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with excellent communication and organisation skills.

·Have the ability to understand client's insurance requirements, making suitable recommendations and source the best suitable quotation from our panel of insurers.

·Liaise within underwriters, agencies and insurers to obtain the best terms for our clients.

·Cross-sell additional cover including legal expenses and increased covers.

·Will have worked on insurance based IT systems, preferably Acturis and have the ability to work with word and excel documents.
