Summary PROPERTY CLAIMS ADJUSTER to c£45,000

Leading Managing Agency based in the City is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to handle their Property claims.

Business is predominantly Delegated Authority business emanating from UK and USA.

You will be responsible for all Claims activity ensuring that services provided are maintained to a high standard.

You will contribute to the needs of the business in terms of meeting the service levels as set out in the Claims Business Plan.

Duties:

·To provide assistance in managing the end to end claims process



·Manage and oversee all claims related activity for the classes of business for which the jobholder is responsible To ensure that the Claims team are kept fully informed of all claims in accordance with the established service level agreements and associated protocols



·The Claims Adjuster will provide assistance in processing and investigating all assigned Syndicate Claims in accordance with the company procedures



·The Claims Adjuster will provide advice on Claims related issues and identify the need for loss prevention activity



·Attending Market Claims Meetings.



Reporting

·To provide assistance on reports for Syndicate Monitoring/ other committees/ working groups as required including monthly claims statistics



·The Claims Adjuster is responsible for providing assistance on quarterly summaries on the Electronic Claims File (ECF) and SCM data



·Provide assistance for establishing and providing Major Loss Notice information to underwriters and



·Assist with the preparation and output of the claims data which is provided to the underwriting committee, the reserving committee and the board.



Skills required:

·Minimum two years working in a similar Claims Adjusting role in a Lloyd's syndicate environment

·Strong analytical and problem solving approach

·Good organisational and planning skills

·Good interpersonal skills

·Clear communicator (verbal and written)

·Team player, committed to sharing knowledge and further learning.



·MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·Experience with Total Object XL Pro reinsurance system

·Experience of working with ECF & LORS
