Summary ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE



·Specialist Brokers to the jewellery trade and are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join their Manchester Branch.

·Looking for an Account Executive with a really positive attitude and a drive for success. Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated.



KEY DUTIES:

·Primary role will be to identify and develop new business but also deal with an existing book of renewals servicing the Manchester area.

·Majority of time out on the road providing client visits and first class service to new and existing clients.

·Successfully broke new business enquiries and insurance renewals and provide a first class service to clients by fulfilling their insurance requirements.

·Build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients, insurers and other staff within the Company.

·Build up detailed knowledge about the company's products and offer advice about existing products and promoting value added services.

·Handle and respond to product queries from clients quickly, efficiently and accurately.

·Provide insurers and underwriters with accurate information to ensure they can assess each risk correctly.

·Manage account relationships with designated clients, acting as primary point of contact for clients from a sales and business development perspective.

·Liaise with colleagues to share information about the current insurance marketplace, and to assist them with any insurance queries.

·Negotiate deals within the industry market in order to meet client demands and remain competitive.

·Deliver presentations to clients and occasionally representing the business at exhibitions, etc.



KEY EXPERIENCE:

·The candidate should have a minimum of 2/3 years Account Executive experience, ideally JB/specie insurance but a general commercial background would .

·Preferably DIP qualified.

·Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.

·Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

·Ability to gather and analyse information for the client and resolve problems.

·Ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual client's level of understanding.

·Ability to identify and match products with client requirements.

·Identify and develop new business in line with Company objectives, involving working to set targets for the area you cover.



·In return we offer a 35 hr week, and following a successful three month probation period an invitation to our excellent pension scheme and healthcare benefits.

·Offering a salary scale between £30,000 - £35,000 dependent upon experience and skill set of the candidate.

·Invitation to join Company car Scheme (£404pm) or cash alternative(£511pm) - to be agreed

·Contractual requirement that if the candidate is not Cert CII qualified that this be obtained with a 12 month period or Dip Qualified within 3 years
