Broker, Non- Marine Claims Salary to 25,000 - 32,000 City based office with WFH Permanent Contract Purpose: To handle claims from first notification to final payment. Processing and broking of the claim on in-house and market systems such as ECF/Class. Claims Executive City of London - WFH Flexibility Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 The Claims Executive will work within a highly skilled team with unrivalled experienced in serving major construction and engineering companies. Duties: oAnalyse the options available for handling complex claims and makes appropriate and effective claims handling decisions with reference to the law, regulations and other relevant factors oSupport proposal and tendering process for new business including attendance at new business presentations where appropriate oUnderstand the risks faced by clients and make recommendations to ensure that coverage and claims handling provisions fit the clients requirements oAdvise the client on coverage issues and appropriate claims resolution strategy and tactics oProvide good understanding of the Claims Service Model as applicable to the servicing of construction project placements oIdentify, investigate and resolves any issues which adversely affect the Client claims service and actively seeks to enhance the claims account management for that client oDemonstrate an understanding of the importance of contract certainty and how it impacts the claims process oAssess the deficiencies in the claims data collected and identifies how to ensure an efficient handling process when the information cannot be obtained oDemonstrate an understanding of the different stages during the life of any claim oReview and determine the process for notifying and investigating claims for own area of business in line with own organisation’s strategy oInterpret policy wordings and conditions to determine the validity of complex claims Experience required oExperience of working within London market claims handling oAbility to be both market and client facing. Role: Claims Technician Location: City with Flexible WFH Salary to 30,000 Permanent An opportunity to work in a leading wholesale Lloyd’s insurance and reinsurance broker providing tailor-made solutions for UK and International clients. The company places the majority of its business on a Binding Authority basis, with direct claims on the whole being handled by appointed Third Party claim Administrators/ Adjusters. Much of this role will involve managing, monitoring and liaising with Third Party Adjusters, clients and (re) Insurers. Additionally there are opportunities to work on the Open Market placements, as well as provide services to other group and associated company claims activities. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation and submission of Claims Bordereaux into Lloyd’s and Company markets, via CLASS / ECF •Submission of claims advices via CLASS/ECF •Loss Fund submission and management •Production & management of claims statistics and information •Binding Authority Claim management •Broking to Lloyd’s and Company markets •Liaison with Third Party Claims Handlers, Adjusters and Coverholders •Proactive claims communication and development with business units •General office/admin duties within the team •Classes of business handled include: - Personal Accident, Travel, Light Aviation & Balloon, Property, PI, Liability, and Marine. All classes include UK and international business Skills and competencies: •Good computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook and in particular Excel, especially preparing and managing claim statistics and data manipulation. •Good communication skills •Ability to prioritise when under pressure •Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a small team Candidate Profile: •Experience in a Lloyd’s broker •London Market processing experience •Binding Authority – bordereaux management experience •Knowledge and experience in Travel and Personal Accident claims an advantage •SSP’s “Sector” insurance software and previous experience would be advantageous but not essential REF 7921
