SENIOR LIABILITY TECHNICIAN/ACCOUNT HANDLER c£50,000 Lloyds Broker based in the City is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Technician with solid Liability experience. You will be technically competent in all areas of drafting technical documentation including the use of PPL. You will ensure effective handling of all allocated business and accurate preparation of all documentation. •Supervise and provide first line support and training to junior members of staff. •Deal with new business, existing business and renewals and enter business on to the system. •Respond promptly to intermediary queries and ensure that all communications with customers and/or insurers, or other relevant business contacts are accurately recorded (in writing). •Inform intermediaries of the policy cover, terms and conditions and claims protocol and reasonably ensure that the client understands the effect of breach of conditions or requirements. Record the details in the client records. •Deal with mid-term policy queries and issue endorsements where appropriate. •Give instructions and relay any issues to insurance providers/broking department. •To maintain and develop relationships through the delivery of excellent service, technical knowledge and expertise. •To ensure accuracy and quality of system data to ensure data and information integrity. •Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) by keeping up to date with all changes in the regulatory framework. About the Role: Due to continued successful growth the Real Estate and Construction (REAC) department is looking to enhance its capabilities and are now looking to recruit an experienced Real Estate Insurance Professional to join the team in London. As a Real Estate Account Handler you will be responsible for providing day-to-day service delivery to a mixed portfolio of UK and European property owner and real estate clients. You will act as a client advocate serving as a key contact within the account team working with an allocation of clients from varying sizes from commercial to large corporate accounts. Key tasks and responsibilities: ·Provide day to day servicing of a client’s insurance programme to support retention and development of the business ·Research, prepare and present renewal reports to account team ·Obtain quotations both or new and renewal business ·Prepare market presentations ·Effectively manage the credit control processes, actively track premium payments and pursue uncollected premium, promptly escalate in line with credit control process ·Serve client's needs, ensuring exceptional service through close and regular interaction ·Diligently check policy documentation in accordance with regulations ·Respond and manage with queries including but not limited to changes in cover and risk ·Manage and coordinate global insurance programmes and liaise with the network worldwide ·Build and nurture close, long-lasting relationships by developing a constantly expanding network of client contacts ·Cultivate a positive network of relationships with insurers, lawyers and loss adjusters ·Seek to identify methods of enhancing services and adding greater value to clients and maintain a robust approach, delivering a service plan and annual timetable of visits aligned to their needs ·Provide feedback for insurer review meetings and actively contribute to the development of relationships Candidate Profile: ·Candidates have insurance experience ideally attained in Real Estate / Property Insurance ·Strong technical knowledge of property risks as well as associated casualty lines of business. ·Poses excellent communications skills and attend external client meetings when required. ·Energy and appetite to learn and proven can develop and progress within the business ·This is predominantly an office-based role with training and study support offered.
