Reinsurance Technician - £35,000 City of London with hybrid working Our client, a global leader in Insurance, is looking for a Reinsurance Technician to join their established team of Brokers based in the City of London. This will be a hybrid role which will be based 3 days a week in the City office and 2 days working from home. Purpose of the role: This role is key to bolstering the existing Broker Support team, assisting with current business and facilitating ongoing broker support for the future growth of the team. As a Reinsurance Technician, you will support the clients and senior Technician with transactional processing, arranging cover documentation and accurate system entry. Key Duties: * Produce documentation for client portfolio, with full responsibility for technical duties relating to client accounts * Assist with producing client and reinsurer presentations * Proactively manage credit control including liaising with brokers and escalating where appropriate * Account preparation and analysis * Build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets * Deal with queries and review processes to improve client service Person Skills/ Experience: * Proven experience in a Reinsurance Broker Support position * Knowledge and understanding of Binder and Facultative Reinsurance business. * Strong IT Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint) * Experience using London Market Systems * Able to manage differing priorities and manage expectations * Adaptable with the willingness to learn and develop * Excellent accuracy and attention to detail REF: 8674
