Ensuring Construction team placements are fully compliant with Divisional Procedures Quoting, Placement and Post Contract Alterations •Analyse and provide advice on risk and insurance issues and structure appropriate coverage. •Placing structure is appropriate to the insured’s operations; exposure and risk transfer goals. •Market presentations secure best possible terms for the client, with full material disclosure. •Negotiates and obtains the most appropriate carrier, coverage and price for the clients’ requirements. •Resolves subjectivities and warranties in accordance with client/insurer instructions to secure underwriters’ participation. •Negotiates agreement to post-placement changes, e.g. by contract endorsement. Market Relationships •Develops and maintains Market Relationships to permit the widest placing opportunities. Management Information •Produce and analyse premium/brokerage/claims/renewal and other statistics as may be required by line manage Client Management •Identifies and manages client requirements in accordance with the terms of appointment •Builds and maintains strong client relationships •Achieves a high rate of client retention through well-planned and executed account renewal management •Ensures there are sufficient resources to meet client day-to-day demands and escalates servicing issues to divisional management as necessary Essential Experience: London or international market experience within Construction Insurance preferably in Account servicing to large international corporations; technical insurance. ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/SENIOR TECHNICIAN c60-70,000 A global broker are currently seeking the following to join their successful team. The role is based within the Property Division and a large element of the role is related to providing technical support to the Broking units and assisting the operational head with the implementation and maintenance of robust processes which allow the delivery of a high-quality client service. The full role requires the individual to support the brokers and compliment areas of the business which are shown below. However, it is recognised that the balance of time for an initial period requires a full engagement within the Property unit to understand its client base and book. 1.Technical support of the Property and Mining book, including all territories, as directed by the Operational Head 2.Engage with the brokers to ensure clients and the book are serviced to a high level 3.Review of documents at key stages to ensure accuracy and completeness for subsequent processing Principle tasks; The key objective of the role is to provide support to the Brokers & Account Executives within the team. This will include but is not limited to the following specific tasks. The role is designed to support the Brokers and Producers and by doing this, contribute to a significant business growth and the delivery of key initiatives. The role is office based but may include meetings with underwriters & clients as considered appropriate by the Directors of the Team Support the Brokers and Producers through the provision of MRC’s and information packs. Provide support to the Broker Support Team as required and ensure adherence to all Contract Certainty requirements with specific reference to the appropriate issuance of Evidence of Cover Ensure the accurate and effective maintenance of data held within the PFP processing systems Liaise with key team leaders to ensure that the team delivers the appropriate level of support for all clients Consider and recommends amendments to the end to end process offered to this client base which takes into account the cultural environment and the specific service challenges which are relative to these territories Key Skills required Experience in servicing open market and facilities contracts Understanding of the regulatory environment relative to the Insurance Industry in London and other regions Confident and proactive in communication with Clients, Underwriters and senior colleagues Respectful , self-motivated and disciplined Ability to produce Market Reform Contracts and Endorsements and maintain awareness of changing requirements Ability to communicate with Clients and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines Computer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages Experience in the use of London Market processes and systems (e.g BARs, ATLAS, Crystal, PPL, Whitespace) Ensure settlement terms/PPWs are met, prevent potential funding or escalates problems to divisional management Assist where needed may be needed with the reconciliation of unallocated cash or escalate the problem to divisional management/IBA as appropriate
