Complaints Coordinator (Claims) City of London – Lloyds Syndicate 12 Month Fixed Term Contract To £40,000 An opportunity to work with a major Managing Agent operating several Lloyds Syndicate platforms. Our client underwrites a broad portfolio of insurance and reinsurance across property, casualty, marine, energy and specialist lines from offices in the City and throughout the world. Main Purpose: To oversee the offshore UK and International complaints processes; act as a subject matter expert on all complaints issues; prepare and produce all complaints reports; work with all TPAs, coverholders and internal claims and underwriting staff to ensure full adherence to our complaint handling responsibilities; identify and address any issues where our claims handling or policy wordings does not meet our overarching commitment to treat customers fairly; act as a contact point with the Lloyd’s complaints team. Duties & Responsibilities:- ·Act as a focal point for all complaint queries from our offshore team ·Where required capture and track all international complaints ensuring adherence to all requirements ·Work with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure all complaints handling processes are understood and embedded within their businesses ·Provide effective oversight and monitoring of complaints reporting deadlines ·Report on our monthly Complaints KPIs/KRIs ·Take all reasonable and proportionate steps to ensure we meet all Lloyd’s Complaints targets ·Ensure our Complaints Policy and processes are up to date and fit for purpose ·Where appropriate undertake Complaints audits and/or provide Complaints training for external stakeholders ·Where required handle or provide guidance on any Complaints ·Assist in the development and roll out of robust complaints attestation process ·Build and maintain our Complaints CNet page ensuring such is up to date and fit for purpose ·Undertake regular RCA Complaint reviews specifically concerning policy terms and conditions ·Ensure all relevant external stakeholders are maintaining a consistent approach to redress ·Provide adhoc assistance and support to the Claims Operations team Skills and Experience:- -Ability to produce and update complaints handling policies and guidance -Excellent communication/presentation skills (to be tested during interview process) -Hands on experience and knowledge of Lloyd’s complaints process essential -Ability to work to and meet deadlines REF : 7026

Compliance Assistant - 6 month contract Essex £40,000 pro rata About the role: Providing administrative support to colleagues associated with the day to day servicing of Trading Partners (Appointed Representatives/Introducer Appointed Representatives/Insurers/Producing Intermediaries), plus other trading partners as instructed by the line manager. Ensuring a consistent approach to practices are maintained within the team and in line with existing Standard Operating Procedures. Key duties: ·Monitor the central Mailbox, ensuring allocation of work to appropriate team &/or individual, deal with incoming general queries and escalate to assistant manager as appropriate. ·Collaborate/Liaise with other monitoring and second and third line of defence teams in order to drive proactive approach to administration and service of new and existing Trading Partners. ·Ensure all records relevant to trading partner files are maintained (perform file spot checks), escalate finding to line manager. ·Contribute to the drafting of agreements, remediation and maintenance of and recording of data relevant to Third Party Introducers/AR/IAR/Toba, including data entry to Central Registers e.g. SharePoint sites. ·Extract regular MI Reports from Central Registers, for quality assurance checking, to evidence volumes and performance, also ensure accurate regulatory reporting outcomes ·Contribute and work to deliver within agreed service levels for all Agency activities. ·Provide work stream support for Business-led and M&A integration projects – scheduled and ad hoc. ·Aim to deliver a high level of customer service and maintain productive and creditable working relationships with appropriate staff within the Company ·Comply with the company Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for role with specific attention, but not limited to Whistle Blowing, Treating Customers Fairly. ·Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.
