IBA Handler

Our client who is a Lloyds Broker, is looking for an IBA Handler to join their busy accounts department in the London office on a 6-12 month initial contract. The purpose of the role is to support the busy finance team in all finance, IBA, Credit Control and Operation functions. Main Duties: * Posting Cash received and paid on the IBA system daily * Matching cash received/paid in against insurance transactions daily * Weekly Bank reconciliations * Entering insurance payments in bank daily * Entering insurance payments in FX trading platform daily * Liaison with external brokers; dealing with queries in the Credit Control email inbox daily * Investigating unallocated cash and matching transactions * Loading CSV interface files from underwriting systems to IBA system * Matching cash in both IBA system and underlying insurance underwriting systems * Support the Accounts Manager Essential Skills Required: * Previous experience working within Credit Control/ IBA * Strong London Insurance Market knowledge * Experience of using UK bank portals * Familiar with IBA (Insurance Broking accounts) systems Desirable: * Good organisation skills * Able to work independently and use initiative What you need to know: * 6-12 month FTC role * Based in London - hybrid (3 days in London) * Salary between 38,000 - 40,000 * A great opportunity to join a growing organisation with lots of training and development opportunities. * A very inclusive and fair opportunities employer REF: 9684 Interested? Processing Technician - Lloyds Broker - 6 Month Contract

6 Month contract with a mid-sized Lloyds accredited broking house. Work in a friendly and supportive team environment to provide a range of technical services, administration and processing functions to support the effective placement and serving of risks into the Lloyds and overseas markets. Hybrid City office / Home working flexibility is available. Below is a wish list of desired skills and expertise but applicants do not need to have experience in every area. Our client is looking for someone with solid Lloyds/London market technical support skills. * Pro Rata Treaty , Excess of Loss and Binder experience * Understanding of processing and reporting for global accounts * Technical understanding of Claims and Premiums * Experience of the IMR * An understanding of ledgers – preferred but not essential * Strong numeracy skills * Ability to work independently and within a team * Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and word competent * Ability to read and understand contract terms – basic but deeper skills an advantage * Good communication and organisational skills What you need to know… * Ability to start the contract ASAP * Salary to 50,000 p.a. pro rata + holiday and pension REF: 9609 Interested?
